Children become increasingly independent as they progress to Key stage 2 at Cedarwood School. We support and encourage pupils to be independent while providing the necessary support in ensuring they find a suitable secondary school at the end of Year 6.

At Cedarwood School, we prepare all our children for external examination and we continue to expose them to a wealth of experiences to prepare them for the future. They are encouraged to participate in home competitions like quizzes, debates, class presentations, public speaking etc.

We believe they mature and become well grounded for secondary school at the end of year 6, we therefore encourage ALL our pupils to complete Key stage 2 with year 6 being the final class.
